
A prosecutor sought a sentence of 30 years imprisonment for the former president turned dictator Juan M. Bordaberry accused of several human rights violations
Prosecutor Ana Maria Tellechea confirmed the order of conviction and noted that one of the "most important is that the attack on the Constitution, in other cases had been rejected" in its opinion.
